Bradley International Airport, (BDL) is a public airport located three miles west of the central business district of Windsor Locks, in Hartford County, Connecticut. It is owned by the State of Connecticut. The airport is situated in the town of Windsor Locks, Suffield, and East Granby and about halfway between Hartford and Springfield, MA. It is Connecticut’s busiest commercial airport.
Bradley serves both the business and leisure traveler with flights to major U.S. markets as well as Canada and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Charter flights connect Bradley to destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico.
Bradley International Airport is considered by many in Connecticut as one of the New York Metro airports which include;JFK - John F Kennedy International Airport, LGA - LaGuardia Airport, and EWR - Newark Liberty International Airport
